Sterling Electric was started in 2008 by David Sterling out of a single truck working out of West Asheville. Today it's a six-person crew working out of an office on Coxe Avenue, but the way we run the work hasn't changed. Every job is in writing. Every job pulls a permit when one's required. Every panel we touch leaves the house labeled. We answer the phone and we tell you the truth, even when the truth is "you don't actually need this."
Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers. Here's what they say after we leave the job site.
If you're a general contractor or facilities manager evaluating Sterling for an upcoming project, here's the short version. Full project list and references available on request.
We carry the bond and insurance to work on commercial sites up to $500K per job. Most of our commercial volume runs in the $25K to $250K range, with crews of two to six on site depending on the project. We handle our own permitting, our own inspections, and our own punch lists.
For larger projects we bring in trusted subs we've worked with for years. References from GCs available for any project type listed at right.

Everything on this page, the layout, the copy structure, the services section, the reviews block, the trust bar, is a demo built from scratch by Get Found Guy to show electricians what their site could look like. Your version would have your name, your photos, your real reviews, and your service area. Same feel, different business.
