Sterling Electric works directly with general contractors, property managers, and business owners on commercial projects from $25K to $500K. Restaurant fit-outs, office build-outs, retail tenant work, light industrial, and multi-family new construction. We carry our own bond and insurance, pull our own permits, and bring our own subs when needed.
Six categories that cover the bulk of our commercial volume. If your project is not listed here, call us anyway. There is a good chance we have done it.
Full kitchen power, hood circuits, walk-in cooler runs, dining room lighting design, POS power, and exterior signage. We have wired more than 30 restaurants across Asheville since 2010.
Lighting, point-of-sale circuits, dressing room power, exterior signage, and HVAC connections. Coordinated with the GC and the landlord on shell-versus-tenant scope.
Office build-outs, medical clinics, dental practices. Open ceiling layouts, MRI room shielding coordination, server room power, dedicated UPS circuits, and emergency lighting.
Three-phase 480V service, motor circuits, dust collection, machinery power, and factory floor lighting. We work directly with mechanical contractors on equipment hookups.
Up to 24 units. Service entrance design, meter banks, unit panels, common area circuits, and code-compliant smoke and CO interconnect across an entire building.
L2 multi-port and DCFC fast-charging installs for commercial fleets, employee parking, hotels, and apartment complexes. We handle the panel side and the utility coordination.
Most of our commercial work comes through general contractors and property management companies who have used us before. The list below covers the kind of partners we run a typical month with.
For GCs, we are a sub who shows up when scheduled, hits inspection on the first try, and does not blow up your punch list. For property managers, we are an electrical contractor who can handle the full spectrum of commercial work without subbing it out to someone you have never met.
We coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and the GC schedule. We attend the OAC meetings if you want us there. We pull our own permits and we close out our own punch lists.
Pricing is in writing, change orders are written before work happens, and the final invoice matches the quoted total plus approved change orders. No surprises at billing.
Project details and references available on request for any GC evaluating us for an upcoming bid.
Send the drawings, the spec, and the bid date. We will turn around a complete commercial bid inside 5 business days. Certificates of insurance and references from past GCs available on request.
